TRAZORNOTES / LEGAL

Terms and conditions

Last updated: September 24, 2026

These terms govern your use of the TrazorNotes app for Android and Windows (the "App"), developed by José Luis Romero Zavala (JL Software Studio), based in Puruándiro, Michoacán, Mexico ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. License to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on your devices. The App is licensed, not sold: we keep ownership of the software and of its name, logo and design.

2. Free version and Premium

3. Purchases, renewals and refunds

4. Your email and your license

Because there are no accounts, your email address is what identifies your license. You are responsible for keeping access to that email and for not sharing the activation links we send you. We cannot move a license to a different email unless you show that the purchase is yours.

5. Your content

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

If you breach these terms, we may revoke your license.

7. Third-party components

The App includes open-source components governed by their own licenses. It also uses third-party services such as Google Play, the Microsoft Store and the handwriting recognition of Google ML Kit and Windows, which are subject to their own terms.

8. Warranty

The App is provided "as is". We do our best to make it work well, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or interruptions, or that it is compatible with every device. This does not limit any rights that the consumer protection law of your country does not allow to be excluded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or content, or loss of profits arising from use of the App. Our total liability will not exceed what you paid for the App in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with its date. Significant changes will also be announced in the App. If you keep using the App after a change, you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Michoacán, Mexico, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer. In Mexico you may contact the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO). If you live in another country, you keep the mandatory rights its law grants you.

12. Privacy

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
